Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Spend this morning in utterly irresistible Florence. Treat yourself to a guided walking tour of the magnificent city center to learn about Florence's exceptional artistic history. You'll also get to cross the famous Ponte Vecchio, brimming with crafts, souvenirs, and boutiques. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, optional visit: entrance to the Uffizi Gallery, famous worldwide for its outstanding collections of ancient sculptures and paintings, from the Middle Ages to the Modern period. Or use your free time to discover the city at your own pace. We recommend strolling through the trendy Oltrarno neighborhood or exploring San Niccolò, whose old city walls transport you to another time. Dinner on your own. Night at the hotel.

Tuscany

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Start the day departing from Florence and heading to San Gimignano. Spend the morning exploring the medieval town. Visit a local artisan for a brief pottery or leather crafting demonstration. Then, drive to Volterra and enjoy traditional Tuscan dishes in a local restaurant before exploring the Roman Theatre, Palazzo dei Priori, and the Etruscan Museum. Afterward, head to Monteriggioni, passing Castello di Monsanto winery where the group will tour its historic cellars and have a tasting of their renowned Chianti Classico. Afterwards time for a walk on the medieval walls, visit Piazza Roma and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta. Dinner on your own. Night at the hotel.

Our ship will begin to cruise early in the morning to Mantua.

Join us on an excursion for both packages: A guided tour of Mantua, where the House of Gonzaga ruled for almost 400 years. You’re free to do as you please in the afternoon.

If this happens, CroisiEurope will do our best to find the best solution according to passenger expectations. For safety reasons, the company and/or the captain of the ship are the only authorities who can modify the cruise itinerary. The navigation on the Bianco Canal is subject to the frequent passage of bridges, making it impossible to access to the sun deck during certain parts of the navigation.

(1) Passengers cannot remain on board the ship between Chioggia and Porto Viro.

(2) If the amphitheater is closed and in July and August, we’ll visitthe magnificent Giusti Gardens.

(3) Recommendation: Arrival D1 in Venice (VCE) before 5pm; departure D7 from Venice (VCE) after 2pm.
