Enjoy a day on your own to stroll through the Epoqu’Auto trade show at your own pace (entry included; lunch not included). Epoqu’Auto brings together historic cars, motorcycles, trucks, and vans—showcasing rare vintage and collection models. It also features themed exhibits, auctions, and stands specializing in restoration and spare parts—making it the place to be for clubs, collectors, and enthusiasts alike. The retro-like feel and vast programs of events add to the show's singularity. OR
TRADITIONS THEME
In the morning, immerse yourself in Lyon's fascinating fabric-weaving history. We'll visit the Maison des Canuts to learn about the city's silk industry and the weavers known as canuts. Enjoy the permanent exhibit dedicated to the origins of silk and the manufacturing of gold and silver threads. Discover traditional looms, including the Jacquard hand loom. We'll then visit the Mattelon Silk Workshop, a French National Monument. The hand looms at the workshop continue to operate today, providing insight to visitors about 19th-century weaving methods. Jacques Mattelon, the current owner, upholds his family's tradition by detailing the workshop's unique expertise—from its foundation in 1854 to its closure in 1996.
In the afternoon, join us for a food tour of Lyon! We'll set out on foot for the Presqu’île Lyonnaise neighborhood. During this gourmet tour, you'll have the chance to sample Lyon's signature pink pralines and local charcuterie—the best the city has to offer!Join us for our festive gala evening.
We'll spend the morning cruising on the Saône River.

CAR THEME: Visit the Musée de l’Automobile Henri Malartre. Situated in a 15th-century castle, the museum contains an exceptional collection of over 150 vehicles—including cars, motorcycles, and bicycles dating back to the beginning of mechanical locomotion. Highlights include the first steam-driven car and the vehicles of former French presidents. Other exhibits focus on streetcars and urban transport, making it a must-see destination for lovers of industrial and technical heritage
TRADITIONS THEME: The Beaujolais des Pierre Dorées. Discover the magnificent villages within the Beaujolais des Pierre Dorées, an area famous for its golden stone houses. We'll travel across the rolling hills covered with neatly lined vineyards and villages reflecting the region's characteristic golden limestone—where every turn offers panoramic views of the Monts du Lyonnais, green valleys, and ample forests. We'll finish up the tour in medieval Oingt—officially listed as one of France's most beautiful villages—by strolling through its picturesque streets and castle.
In the evening, we'll set off on foot for an extraordinary French gastronomic dinner at Paul Bocuse’s Abbaye de Collonges featuring local cuisine rooted in simplicity and generosity.(1)
We'll arrive in Lyon early in the morning. Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking.
