Visit celebrated museums— including the Musée Marmottan Monet—as well as the lovely home of Claude Monet and his supreme gardens in Giverny. Enjoy thematic tours of cities and villages that were part of the French Impressionist movement, such as Barbizon, Rouen, and Honfleur.

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Join us for a lecture entitled
The Definition of Impressionism, its Origins, Techniques, and Contexts.
We’ll spend the morning cruising to Melun. This afternoon, join us for a guided tour of Barbizon. This charming village found fame in the 19th century through the works of art created by landscape painters who were members of the Barbizon School art movement. The Auberge Ganne, where the artists once lived, is now a museum. We'll enjoy dinner and an evening of entertainment.
We’ll spend the morning cruising. In the afternoon, join us for a visit to the Musée Marmottan Monet(1), which houses the largest collection of his paintings. After we return on board, we’ll begin to cruise to Mantes-la-Jolie. Join us for a second onboard lecture entitled Claude Monet, the Quintessential Impressionist.
Join us for a tour of Monet’s home and studio in Giverny. We’ll spend the afternoon cruising to Rouen. Enjoy a cabaret-style evening of entertainment on board.
We’ll set out on a guided tour of Rouen(2) this morning by following the footsteps of the Impressionists.
We’ll spend the afternoon cruising to Honfleur.
Join us for a lecture entitled The Geography of Impressionism: Paris and its Suburbs, Honfleur, and the Coastlines of Normandy.
Set out on a walking tour of Honfleur, the cradle of Impressionism. Enjoy some free time on your own at the Eugène Boudin Museum. This afternoon, we'll visit the Côte d'Albâtre, with its magnificent white cliffs lined with pebble beaches and the small seaside city of Étretat.
Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking at 9:00 a.m.
For safety reasons, the company and/or the captain of the ship are the only authorities who can modify the cruise itinerary.
The cruise schedule may vary according to tides and arrival times at ports of call and may be subject to change.
(1) The museum is closed on Mondays, it will be replaced by the Musée de l'Orangerie.
(2) The Fine Arts Museum is closed on Tuesdays and during holiday, it will be replaced by the Eugène Boudin Museum in Honfleur on Day 6 instead.
