From Budapest to Passau via Bratislava, Vienna and Melk, these cities rich in culture and history will unveil their secrets. Discover the Schoenbrunn Palace and the beautiful Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its wooded hillsides, orchards, small villages, vineyards and monasteries, it is the most picturesque part of the Danube and where the majestic Dürnstein Castle stands.

Our ship will cruise to Vienna. Enjoy a free evening or join us on an optional excursion : Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability.)
Join us on an excursion : Visit Schönbrunn Palace, former summer residence of the imperial family, and tour of part of Vienna.
Afternoon, join us on an excursion : Tour Hofburg Palace, the Hapsburg's winter residence and its Sisi Museum.
Early in the morning, we'll cruise along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley before arriving in Melk. Join us on an excursion: Visit Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held prisoner. In the afternoon, join us on an excursion: Visit the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. We'll return on board in Ybbs.
In the evening, we'll begin to cruise to Passau. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner.
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. Transfer by coach from Passau to Munich (approximately 2 hours). Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we’ll take part in a guided tour of the city passing though the heartbeat of Munich: Marienplatz (St. Mary's Square), the world-famous center of the state capital; Viktualienmarkt, the Munich’s largest market and the Frauenkirche, a symbol of the Bavarian capital. Cosmopolitan and warm, relaxed and charming, lively and enchanting: Munich is Germany's capital of the art of living. Then, you'll check into a 4-star hotel. Dinner on your own and night at the hotel.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. In the morning, departure by coach for a guided tour of the Neuschwanstein Castle. Neuschwanstein was built for the Bavarian king Ludwig II (1845 - 1886); construction began in 1868 but was never fully completed. The king envisioned his castle as a monument to the culture and concept of monarchy prevalent in the Middle Ages, which he greatly admired and wanted to recreate (our ticket to Neuschwanstein Castle includes the shuttle bus to the main drop off point but guests will still need to walk 15 minutes from that point to the castle). Lunch on your own in the village of Hohenschwangau, a charming village nestled in the Bavarian Alps of Germany, renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Return to Munich by coach. Free time in the city. For dinner, we’ll have a traditional meal. Night at the hotel.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Transfer to the airport, depending on your flight schedule.
